Meet The Founder

The name ExtremiDees came from the word Extreme meaning “reaching a high or the highest degree; very great”. Mixed with Dee which is a nickname that has always followed Diondra since a very young age. Extremidees will go to the highest degree to give you the best quality and experience.   

Diondra Sutherland is a mother to 3 amazing children. She was born and still resides in Louisville, Kentucky.  She birthed her company Extremidees in April of 2021, with the vision of helping women feel good. Her motto is “if you feel good you do good”, and she also believes this so helping them maintain their beauty is the ultimate goal! She has been in the hair care industry since the age of 12, she started braiding the community’s hair, and not long after high school realized that this was indeed a passion she was ready to pursue. She attended Empire Beauty School of cosmetology with the vision of becoming a stylist. She went on to earn her Master's Stylist license in 2010 and worked in the field for 12 years.

 As hair care is her passion, she wanted to extend herself in the field that she knew very well. But the fire of being a stylist only was not sparking her as much. She wanted to venture more deeply, so she began to articulate the wig-making business. Along with that she also wanted to create a natural hair care line. Diondra studied herbs and natural ways to care for the hair and scalp, and that is where her natural hair line originated from. Her clientele would rave about her products and wanted to purchase so she decided to pursue her brand. Since then, she has been customizing wigs since 2014 building a variety of clientele. The clientele included traveling nurses who had little to no time to style their hair, and clients suffering from medical conditions that wanted to protect their natural hair. What was great is that her natural hair care went along with her wig clientele and they loved how the oil made their scalp feel before putting a wig on. Once that was in full effect, she created ExtremiDees and has been fully serving her clients with hair growth oil, beard oil, beard balm, and customized wigs!
